Studies in the organizational and work area are addressed in the light of the discourse of globalization and the process in the world of work and how much changes that have occurred in this context have influenced the worker's behavior. These conditions are not limited to the geographical and political context, but have shown interest on the part of researchers in studies on the effects that these changes can generate on the binomial worker-organization and development of strategies to remain competitive. This article aims to verify the influence of organizational support on knowledge management. The study included 208 workers, men and women, over 18 years of age, from public and private organizations in the city of Natal-RN, who answered a sociodemographic questionnaire, the organizational support scale and knowledge management. In addition to the identification that the scales are reliable, it was observed that organizational support was positively related, either in its total score of the scores among the constructs, or in the specificity of the factors of knowledge management; in a variance analysis, it is highlighted that the subjects who had higher scores in organizational support also scored higher in knowledge management. Thus, the results of this dissertation have not only been confirmed, but also have their importance not only to reflect practices for the human being (HR), but also of organizational policy of productivity and quality of life of the worker in his work environment.
