TEACHING THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE AND READING: THE IMPORTANCE OF TEXTUAL INTERPRETATION
Abstract
This article aims to highlight the importance of teaching the Portuguese language in the interpretation of reading, as well as the influence exerted by it in people's lives. The research presented here seeks to encourage educators to introduce reading and interpretation in their classroom approaches. When analyzing the importance of reading their interpretation in people's daily lives, we will see that in addition to enriching people's vocabulary, textual interpretation instigates the act of thinking, develops the criticality and dexterity of textual comprehension. The study considered how pedagogical practices can influence the act of awakening reading in the students' lives. For the construction of this article, we used the bibliographic research, which considered essential the construction of criticism of the object of study. Finally, we consider that the teaching of reading the Portuguese language course is paramount for the construction of reading knowledge for students.

Possui Graduação (Licenciatura) em Letras e Literaturas pela Universidade Estadual do Centro -Oeste - Unicentro (2020). Especialista em Letras e Literaturas pela Faculdade Venda Nova do Imigrante Faveni (2020). Graduada em Tecnologia em Comércio Exterior pela Faculdade de Tecnologia Internacional - Facinter (2010). Atualmente é auxiliar administrativo da Prefeitura Municipal de Rancho alegre D´Oeste- PR.
Doutor em Teoria Literária UnB. Professor, pesquisador e coordenador do Programa de P´os-Graduação em Sociedade, Ambiente e Qualidade de Vida e do Programa de Pesquisa e Extensão Cultura, Identidade e Memória na Amazônia.
