The 6th International Congress of Scientific Journals consolidates itself as one of the most relevant spaces for reflection, dialogue, and collective construction in the field of scientific communication and academic publishing. In its sixth consecutive edition, it reaffirms its uninterrupted trajectory as a plural, open, and highly qualified environment for the exchange of ideas among editors, researchers, professors, reviewers, and other stakeholders involved in the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
The event will take place on October 2nd, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza campus, bringing together participants from different regions of Brazil and abroad. With a hybrid format, the congress will allow both in-person and remote participation, with live streaming via YouTube, expanding access and strengthening the democratic and inclusive nature of science. Participation is completely free, reinforcing the commitment to broad and unrestricted dissemination of knowledge.
Throughout its editions, the congress has established itself as a strategic space for discussing central themes related to scientific journals, editorial quality, peer review processes, internationalization, and the visibility of academic production. It is a fertile environment for sharing experiences, presenting best practices, and developing innovative solutions to the challenges faced by scientific journals in contemporary times.
In this edition, special emphasis is placed on reflecting on the challenges of scientific research in the coming decades, particularly in light of technological transformations, the expansion of open science, the growing use of artificial intelligence, ethical requirements, and the need to enhance the social impact of scientific production. The congress proposes a forward-looking perspective, encouraging debates on editorial sustainability, scientific integrity, democratization of access to knowledge, and the strengthening of international collaboration networks.
The Multidisciplinary Scientific Journal RECIMA21 invites the entire academic and scientific community to participate in this important event, which represents not only a space for updating and learning, but also a concrete opportunity to contribute to the advancement of science and the strengthening of scientific journals on both national and international levels.
