A STUDY ON THE LEVEL OF SATISFACTION OF STUDENTS OF THE DEGREE COURSE IN MATHEMATICS OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF ALAGOAS (UFAL) - CAMPUS ARAPIRACA
Abstract
The present article analyzed the level of satisfaction of the Licentiate in Mathematics students at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) - Campus Arapiraca, in relation to the course in which they are inserted. This study was designed because, historically, Mathematics Licentiate courses have a high level of evasion. That is, in general, they do not have a good relationship between freshmen and graduates. In this sense, it is important to know the perception that undergraduates have about the course to which they are part. Therefore, the objective of this work was to analyze the level of satisfaction of students of the Mathematics Degree course at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) - Campus Arapiraca, on aspects such as: physical structure of the campus, academic training, relationship with teachers of the course, difficulties encountered during graduation, etc. Thus, a qualitative approach was carried out with students from the campus, seeking to understand and analyze the student profile and their perceptions of the course. Finally, we conclude that, in general, the Mathematics Degree students at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) - Campus Arapiraca are satisfied with the training offered, making a few observations and/or suggestions about the course.
