THE IMPACT OF STRESS RELATED TO MANAGEMENT POSITIONS IN ATRIAL FIBRILLATION: A REVIEW WITH CLINICAL EVIDENCES
Abstract
Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia, with a significant impact on health and quality of life. This study investigates the relationship between occupying leadership positions and the incidence of AF, focusing on how occupational stress influences cardiovascular health. It conducts a qualitative literature review, analyzing studies from 2019 to 2024, focusing on the underlying mechanisms and clinical implications. The results point to a significant correlation between leadership and higher risk of AF, suggesting that chronic stress raises cortisol levels and affects cardiac electrophysiology.
