TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM AIMED AT RESERVE POLICE OFFICERS
Abstract
This study essentially reflects on the technical and operational difficulties faced by police officers who are part of the reservist corps of the Military Police of the State of Paraná. It discusses the need to implement a protocol to support and maintain tactical skills aimed exclusively at these agents and highlights the lack of a project, program or training provided to this group of officers who, although they are exercising their paid reserve, still continue to have the responsibilities and obligations provided for in specific regulations, albeit detailed. It also highlights that crime is constantly being updated with the ability to identify the police officer in the midst of ordinary society and also that the agent naturally loses part of the skills acquired during his career in active service over time. Therefore, it considers its continued maintenance essential, thus suggesting a possible solution to fill this gap through the creation of a specific program for the transmission of basic urban combat and police survival techniques, with the main purpose of providing technical and operational maintenance for these honorable soldiers who fulfilled their difficult oath to defend society and finally reached their well-deserved paid reserve.
