DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF THE TECHNICAL QUALITY OF THE PLATFORM FOR PROMOTING A POSITIVE ETHICAL CLIMATE
Abstract
Develop and evaluate the technical quality of a computerized platform to promote a positive ethical climate in an emergency room. This technological development study adopted the Design Science Research method, following five fundamental activities: problem identification; objective definition; artifact design and development; applicability demonstration; and artifact evaluation. The system was developed using the React JS framework and employing HyperText Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets, and JavaScript as programming languages. The platform underwent pilot testing and quality evaluation, using descriptive statistics for analysis. The pilot test was conducted with 12 healthcare professionals, in which all characteristics and sub-characteristics were evaluated as adequate, except for accessibility. The technical quality evaluation showed above 70% agreement among the 15 specialists. A platform for promoting a positive ethical climate with good technical quality and functional performance was developed.
