TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND MONITORING OF CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA (CLL): CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES IN THE CONTEXT OF PUBLIC HEALTH IN BRAZIL
Abstract
This study aims to analyze technological advances in the diagnosis and monitoring of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), highlighting its relevance in the context of public health. This is a qualitative and descriptive literature review, based on searches in recognized scientific databases, with the selection of studies published between 2020 and 2026. Specific descriptors combined by Boolean operators were used, allowing the identification of relevant scientific productions on the subject. The results show that techniques such as flow cytometry, molecular analysis, and the use of artificial intelligence have contributed significantly to greater diagnostic accuracy and monitoring of the disease. In addition, it has been observed that these advances allow for better risk stratification and more effective clinical follow-up. It is concluded that the incorporation of these technologies represents an important advance for biomedical practice, favoring early detection, appropriate treatment and improvement of patients' quality of life.
