CASE STUDY OF THE URBAN DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ENVIRONMENT IN A NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ARARAQUARA - SP
Abstract
Rainwater or urban drainage deals with the control and management of rainwater, the objective of which is to minimize problems that can be caused by excess water, such as floods and landslides. Conventional drainage is built with a system that includes circular concrete piping, manholes and masonry junction box, manholes, guides, gutters, gutter and manhole that reduce speed or fall.The division of the study project is done in 4 parts, due to the high budget it would not be possible to carry out the project completely, using its own resources. The important aspects in drainage planning are social, legal, institutional, technological and environmental. Having the vast and extensive study and research on how important the environment is to go hand in hand with drainage, becoming aware that these factors also affect the city's sanitation.Thus, it is possible to identify problems, quantify and research on new ways to implement new resources that, in addition to lower costs, help to maintain the quality of the rainwater drainage system, as a result alleviate or not even interfere with and impact on the environment.
