The Multidisciplinary Scientific Journal RECIMA21 adopts a transparent and rigorous editorial workflow aligned with international best practices in scientific publishing, ensuring quality, ethics, and efficiency at all stages of the process.
The process begins with manuscript submission exclusively through the journal’s official platform (OJS). At this stage, authors must ensure that the manuscript complies with the author guidelines, including anonymization for double-blind peer review.
After submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening, in which aspects such as scope alignment, originality, manuscript structure, compliance with scientific standards, and a preliminary similarity check are evaluated. Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum criteria may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected at this stage.
Manuscripts approved in the screening phase proceed to the double-blind peer review process, in which at least two expert reviewers in the field evaluate the work independently, without knowledge of the authors’ identities. At this stage, criteria such as scientific relevance, methodological rigor, clarity, coherence, and contribution to knowledge advancement are assessed.
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial decision may result in acceptance, acceptance with minor revisions, mandatory revisions, or rejection. When necessary, the manuscript may undergo more than one round of evaluation until it fully meets the required standards.
After final approval, the manuscript undergoes additional quality control and compliance procedures. First, it is subjected to similarity analysis using a specialized tool (CopySpider) to identify potential textual overlap. Then, the references and formatting are reviewed by a professional librarian, ensuring compliance with technical standards and scientific norms. The manuscript is also forwarded to the legal department, which verifies any potential legal, ethical, or liability-related issues.
Once these steps are completed, the article proceeds to editing, language revision, and production in publication formats (PDF and/or XML), and is then published in open access on the journal’s website.
The average time from submission to publication is approximately 40 to 60 days, which may vary depending on the complexity of the manuscript, compliance with deadlines by authors and reviewers, and the volume of submissions.
RECIMA21 reaffirms its commitment to transparency, ethics, and scientific quality, ensuring a fair, rigorous, and reliable editorial process for authors and readers.
