TEA Y DIAGNÓSTICO PRECOZ EN BRASIL: DESAFÍOS EN LA RED DE ATENCIÓN EN SALUD
Resumen
El Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) presenta signos tempranos que permiten el diagnóstico durante la infancia, esencial para intervenciones eficaces. Sin embargo, en Brasil persisten desafíos que dificultan este proceso. Este estudio realizó una revisión sistemática de artículos publicados entre 2013 y 2024 en las bases de datos SciELO y PubMed, con el objetivo de identificar los principales obstáculos para el diagnóstico temprano. Los resultados indican que la falta de capacitación de los profesionales de atención primaria, la escasez de protocolos estandarizados, el desconocimiento familiar sobre los signos iniciales y la desigualdad en el acceso a servicios especializados son los principales impedimentos. Se concluye que es necesario invertir en políticas públicas, formación profesional y estrategias de tamizaje temprano, especialmente en la atención primaria, para garantizar un diagnóstico más ágil y equitativo en niños con TEA.
