THE LEGALITY OF TELEPHONE INTERCEPTION IN THE MILITARY POLICE CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF PARANÁ

Abstract

The article proposes a discussion, as well as presenting the need to work continuously on the use by the military police of the State of Paraná, the means of comunication and the importance of knowing Law nº 9.296/96, which regulates telephone interception in Brazil, in view of the increase in crime and the indiscriminate use of communications technologies by criminal organizations, many of them with the participation of state military personnel. The aforementioned law meets the needs of the Military Corporation to provide garantees to provide guarantees to professionals in the area of public security, whe using policial inteligence, as well as for gathering consistent information against people outside the law, without violating the constitutional rights inherent to every citizen. The study worked on its methodology, as to the type of explanatory research, as to the technique, this was bibliographical and documentary and qualitative analysis. It is essential to address the issue of training public security professionals, in terms of police intelligence, including a study of law 9.296/96, as well as the frequency of instructions to military police officers, corroborating with the frequency of instructions to military police officers, corroborating with them, in the daily work of their services.
