This article analyzes the impact of occupational stress on military police officers and discusses the contributions of integrative practices — meditation, yoga, and pilates — to their mental health. It is a descriptive and exploratory literature review conducted in national and international databases. Findings indicate that these practices promote relaxation, reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, improve self-esteem and sleep quality, and enhance psychological resilience. International evidence shows that adapted protocols have already been applied in security forces, with positive effects on attention, emotional regulation, and operational performance. It is concluded that the inclusion of structured yoga, meditation, and pilates programs in police routines constitutes a preventive and health-promoting measure, essential to address stress and strengthen occupational health in public security.
