The objective of this work is to show the importance of PDCA analysis as a tool to prepare public school students for the future, due to the ease that the tool has for the application of the method with methodologies that can enhance the students' learning. Assisting in the execution of a strategic planning according to the objectives and goals established, that is, an appropriate direction for the future of the educational institution. The methodology used was bibliographical research in articles and academic sites with authors found in Google Scholar and SciELLO. When conducting the research, we studied material that addresses the use of PDCA in organizations and how the use of project-based learning is efficient and can bring benefits to the school. Thus, it is possible to consider that this tool should be applied in schools, increasing the autonomy of students in order to bring benefits.
