Abstract

The objective of this work was to evaluate the effectiveness of different herbicides in the management of desiccation of horseweed (Conyza spp) in the soybean crop, in addition to recording possible effects of phytotoxicity of the treatments for that crop. The experiment was carried out in Londrina-PR, latitude S: 23º24'22.43", longitude W: 51º9'51.36", altitude of 480m. The cultivar used was HO Iguaçu, sown on 09/18/2022, with the following characteristics: 12 plants per meter, spacing of 0.45m between lines and population density of 266,666 plants per hectare. The handling of applications and conduction of the experiment proceeded as follows: first application carried out on 09/13/2022, sequential carried out on 09/23/2022 and ending the test with the harvest on 03/10/2023. The experimental design used was randomized blocks with 26 treatments and 3 replications. Applications were carried out with a CO2 knapsack sprayer, equipped with a 2 m spray range bar containing 4 fan-type nozzles, spaced 0.50 m apart. The working pressure was 18 lb/in2, with a spray volume of 100 L/ha. In the results below, the treatments show the formulated products with their respective doses in ml/ha or g/ha in parentheses. The application times used were, A: Desiccation; B: sequential 10 days after application A. The highest increase in yield (2175.83kg/ha) in relation to the control was observed in the treatment: T2.
