ATUAÇÃO DA FISIOTERAPIA NO TRATAMENTO DO TRISMO EM PACIENTES COM CÂNCER DE CABEÇA E PESCOÇO

Objetivo: Este estudo teve por objetivo identificar as principais condutas no tratamento de trismo em pacientes com câncer de cabeça e pescoço. Métodos: foram realizadas a revisão de 13 artigos nos quais mostraram diferentes abordagens de tratamento para reduzir o trismo. Resultados: Foram identificadas várias abordagens para a redução do trismo na qual, todos os estudos obtiveram grandes resultados e mostraram a eficiência de aparelhos como o laser de baixa frequência, ultrassom terapêutico, therabite, espátulas de madeira e a eficácia de exercícios como alongamentos e terapias manuais. Conclusão: Nos 13 artigos revisados pode se notar a eficácia da terapia na redução de trismo.
