Abstract

There are several analytical techniques that allow studying and characterizing chemical species. Within the physical methods of inorganic analysis, resonance stands out as one of the best options for studying varied structures, especially those that contain metal centers. This is a theoretical review study, exploratory and qualitative in nature, with the objective of presenting the paramagnetic resonance of electrons (RPE) as one of the types of resonance used in chemical analysis. This study made it possible to know several applications of the technique and understand, based on its selectivity, what leads it to be a better option compared to other physical methods of analysis.
