FEELINGS EXPERIENCED BY THE NURSING TEAM IN DEATH SITUATIONS

The death experienced in the work of nursing professionals can generate feelings due to living with the patient. Thus, this work aims to bring information about the mechanisms of coping with grief in Professional practice in the hospital environment and to present actions to reduce the impacts caused by the binomial life / death. The methodology used was a descriptive research by filling in an online form by workers in the nursing profession, through the collection of information about the feelings experienced in a death situation. The results found showed the most present feelings when these professionals deal with death and the importance of psychological monitoring offered by the hospital to nursing workers Who routinely deal with grief. Therefore, the disclosure of information on this work shows the need to work the death process from academic training to work acting, softening the feelings generated by nursing professionals.
