Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the entrepreneurial intention of individuals linked to business incubators in the light of the theory of planned behavior and to observe the influence of the economic context, individual entrepreneurial orientation and the actions of the incubator on the attitude of undertaking. The work has a quantitative descriptive approach, with the data collected from a structured questionnaire using the 7-point Likert scale. In the data analysis, the structural equations model was used to test the hypothesis, applying the software SmartPLS. The practical implications point to concrete evidence of relationship between the constructs to explain the intention and action of individuals engaged in business incubators. In view of this, the statistical results proved that the proposed conceptual model was adequate.
