Abstract

With the support of the Regional Council of Medicine of Minas Gerais, Brazilian Society of Urology and Brazilian Society of Orthopedis and Regional Traumatology Minas Gerais, the 3rd Interdisciplinary Congress of the Medical Area, 3rd CIAM, was a 100% online event, which took place on September 23, 24 and 25, 2022 with students from all medical schools in Brazil. The event featured about 72 speakers, who, with property, taught evidence-based medicine and which has humanization as its defense. The congress was held live and with up to 3 lectures taking place simultaneously, thus giving the opportunity for the registrant to choose which lecture of greatest interest would like to attend. Even at physical distance, the 3rd CIAM was held live, and sought ways to stay close to its congressmen, providing on its platform tools of interaction between congressmen, mediators and speakers through chat of doubts and polls throughout the transmission of the event, showing that it is possible to transform the discussion in health through the virtual environment. In addition, all lectures were available on the platform, after the event, for 60 days, giving the opportunity for the enrolled to attend all the lectures again.  The congress addressed the theme "Medicine 4.0: Technology, innovation in knowledge and development of skills out of the curve", in order to discuss new technological innovations in the field of post-pandemic medicine and its benefits for society.
