Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the experience of designing an intervention project for the construction of responsible autonomy for the College of Application of the Federal University of Pernambuco during the intervention planning internship period within the institution. Forty-hour field observation, analysis of the institution's official documents, and semi-structured interviews with educators and college technicians were the instruments used for data collection. After this work we could infer that responsible autonomy presupposes, besides the already existing freedom of action in the College, a formation in values that make students aware of what it is to be responsible about the use of this autonomy. In order to meet this demand, a directed planning for this Education of Values was elaborated, theoretically based mainly on the ideas of interdimensional education of Antônio Carlos Gomes da Costa.
