Abstract

The need for fairer and more accurate municipal taxation with regard to a correct collection of taxes, was what brought to light the study in question. Thus, the objective was to analyze the real estate registration update, as a technological instrument for the modernization of the municipal administration.  In an attempt to promote the increase in tax collection for the municipality of União do Oeste/SC. To meet this purpose, the methodology used was with quantitative and descriptive method, through a documentary research. Consequently, data collection was used by the betha sistemas municipal tax system and Google Maps.
