This research was didactically divided into three chapters and respective subchapters. This is a scientific article, developed through the logical-deductive process, presenting qualitative and quantitative data, which has the general objective of demonstrating the importance of the Evidence Chain of Custody and the specific objective of dimensioning and quantifying costs for the implementation of measures aimed at improving the ostensive policing activity carried out by the Military Police of Paraná through the acquisition of Evidence Chain of Custody kits. It is estimated that the annual investment required for the acquisition of Chain of Custody kits within the scope of the Military Police of the State of Paraná is R$ 784,774.93 (seven hundred and eighty-four thousand, seven hundred and seventy-four reais and ninety-three cents). The discussion is based on Federal Law No. 13,964, of December 24, 2019 - Anti-Crime Package, which significantly modified provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure regarding the Examination of Corpus Delicti , Chain of Custody and Expertise in General.
