Abstract

ABSTRACT: This work aims to carry out an analysis of violence, its forms and possible causes in Indigenous Lands of Rondônia from the analysis of the documents of the Observatory of violence against indigenous peoples organized by the Indigenous Missionary Council (CIMI) from 2003 to 2017. For this, we carried out a section of the events of violence against indigenous peoples that occurred in the state of Rondônia. We conclude that, despite having different origins and natures, the Brazilian State has a connection with the violence caused, either by inducing or by not suppressing violent acts.
