Benzodiazepines are among the most used psychotropic drugs and are mainly used in sleep and anxiety disorders. Its role in controlling these symptoms can be seen as potential for abuse, dependence, and self-medication. Pharmaceutical assistance becomes essential for the rational use of medications, including benzodiazepines. The lack of correct guidance makes it clear that the patient does not know the risks he is subjected to when using these drugs.
