Abstract

An effective management of human resources is crucial for the success of any dental clinic, because it optimizes resources and guarantees quality of service. This review addresses management models, emphasizing the political, technical and economic dimensions, and highlights the importance of clear recruitment and selection processes. The management model of the Universidade San Gregorio de Portoviejo stands out, which integrates political, technical and economic aspects to improve the quality of service and the management of resources. Also, the human resources process was examined by Rimarachin Carranza, which ranges from recruitment to personnel appraisal, identifying deficiencies and areas of improvement. The review also explores job satisfaction, differentiating between intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction, and how these factors influence well-being and personal performance. Best practices for recruiting and retaining talent have been identified, such as clearly defining job requirements, using diverse recruiting channels, and promoting a positive work environment and professional development opportunities. In conclusion, effective management of human resources in dental medicine is essential for the sustainability and success of clinics, improving both the quality of service and the satisfaction and retention of people.
