Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by persistent alterations in communication, social interaction, and behavior, requiring continuous assessment and monitoring throughout childhood development. Given the limitations of traditional methods, particularly regarding the frequency of follow-up and access to specialized services, digital health technologies have emerged as complementary strategies. This study aimed to analyze the available scientific evidence on the use of mobile applications as tools for the assessment and behavioral monitoring of children with ASD. This is a systematic review conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines, with searches carried out in the SciELO, PubMed, BVS, and LILACS databases covering the period from 2016 to 2025. After the selection process, five studies were included in the final synthesis. The results indicate that mobile applications have the potential to support both initial screening and objective behavioral assessment, with emphasis on approaches based on structured instruments and digital phenotyping. It is concluded that these tools represent promising alternatives to complement traditional clinical methods, expanding access, continuity of follow-up, and opportunities for monitoring the behavior of children with ASD.
