PILOMATRIXOMA: RELATO DE CASO

Pilomatrixomas são tumores benignos dos anexos da pele derivados das células basais da epiderme. É encontrado geralmente em pacientes jovens, sem preferência por sexo. É um tumor de pele extremamente raro. Pode acometer qualquer parte do corpo, principalmente face e pálpebras. Apresentam-se como nódulo pequeno, solitário e de crescimento rápido, aderidos a pele, mas móvel em relação aos tecidos profundos. Pode haver degeneração maligna é chamada de carcinoma pilomatrixial. O diagnóstico confirmatório é histopatológico dentre as diversas patologias de pele diferenciais. O tratamento cirúrgico é a escolha e a taxa de recorrência é baixa.
