INVESTIGANDO A CAPACIDADE ACELERATIVA LINEAR EM DISTÂNCIAS CURTAS NO BASQUETEBOL

A aceleração linear é um fator determinante para o rendimento atlético superior no basquetebol. Logo, o objetivo deste estudo é investigar a capacidade acelerativa linear em distâncias curtas no basquetebol. Para efetuar essa revisão literária, quatro bases de dados eletrônicas (PubMed, Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Scielo) foram consultadas, elegendo 33 artigos científicos primários que discutiam a capacidade acelerativa linear no basquetebol e 37 referências secundárias suplementares. Os testes avaliativos da aceleração linear em distâncias curtas (5, 10, 15, 20 e 25-metros) com e sem drible de bola são comumente usados na prática profissional. Evidenciou-se nas pesquisas que a distância de 10-metros é a mais implementada e as células fotoelétricas o instrumento de medida preferencial. As intervenções agudas predominaram em relação às abordagens crônicas heterogêneas. Foi verificado que conforme os atletas progridem na idade biológica e categorias competitivas, sua atividade locomotora acelerativa é aprimorada. Jogadores masculinos são mais rápidos que as atletas femininas, assim como, jogadores externos aceleram melhor quando comparados aos jogadores internos. Também, o descritor de movimento média da velocidade acelerativa do corpo (MVAC) mostrou ser elevado na distância de 15-metros, valor numérico similar ao trajeto médio predominante nas acelerações durante os jogos. Por último, estudos adicionais são necessários para suprir lacunas deixadas pela literatura e, com isso, contribuir com informações mais consistentes acerca da capacidade acelerativa linear voltada aos basquetebolistas.
