WEB SYSTEM WITH DELAY INDICATORS IN BREAST CANCER DIAGNOSIS: SCOPE REVIEW PROTOCOL

Abstract

Objective: To map evidence on the web system with requirements for indicators of delay in the diagnosis of breast cancer. Introduction: Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer in the world. The knowledge of innovations that help in early diagnosis will help in the development of new technologies that improve the monitoring of this serious public health problem. Eligibility criteria: The requirements of a web system for monitoring indicators of diagnosis delay in breast cancer were included. Methodology: Use of PRISMA-ScR to systematize the research protocol, which should be performed at LILACS, MEDLINE, PubMed and Scopus. Selected publications will be evaluated from full text available in Portuguese, English and Spanish, with a time frame of five years prior to the search and reading period. Also included may be studies published on government websites, Google Scholar and repositories of theses and master's and doctoral dissertations. Expected result: Identify sources of publications or gaps in knowledge about database management systems, especially web systems that contain indicators of delay in breast cancer diagnosis. Conclusions: Due to the systematization to be used in the proposed review, this protocol will allow greater reliability and reproducibility to the research process. The findings of this study will allow evaluating the extent of studies already conducted in the area, promoting the development of new digital technologies for breast cancer control.
