Abstract

The transition of care poses a challenge to interdisciplinary communication and the continuity of safe care. Digital tools represent potential technological solutions for effective communication. Objective: to map the evidence available in the literature about the use of information and communication technology in the transition of interdisciplinary care. Method: scoping review protocol based on the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) checklist. For eligibility, primary studies that answer the research question will be included. The search and collection of data will be carried out in October 2022. The databases consulted will be: EMBASE, Scopus, Web of Science, MEDLINE, PubMed, LILACS and gray literature. The construction of the research strategy will follow the acronym PCC (Population, Concept and Context), using the descriptors of Health Science (DeCS), Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), EMTREE and keywords. Two independent reviewers will select the references after reading the title and abstract. The Rayyan QCR and Mendeley reference manager will be used. To map the information, a form or characterization table will be prepared, based on the model proposed by the JBI and its organization through Excel® spreadsheets. The data extraction instrument will contain: database, year, language, title, authors, type of study, objectives and conclusion. The qualitative analysis of the results will be carried out through a descriptive synthesis.
