Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic caused many negative balances: the immediate overload of health systems, the decrease of resources in the health area for other clinical conditions, the impact of interruption in health care of various chronic conditions and the elevation of mental disorders and psychological traumacaused directly by infection or its secondary consequences. Therefore, they aim to analyze the mental health problems experienced by users, family members and PHC professionals, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, its consequences and challenges and to meet the demand in raps services. This is a qualitative investigation whose purpose was to identify the mental health problems reported by users, family members and professionals due to Covid-19, the challenges to be faced by the demand in RAPS. The results are presented in two stages: In the first, the characterization of participants, professionals, users and family members are described; in the second moment, mental health problems, reported due to the Covid-19 Pandemic; the strategies for coping with the problems caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic; the repercussions on RAPS services - user and family vs. professional. It was concluded that the consequences and repercussion of the problems caused by Covid-19 will still echo for some time. It is necessary that governments have attitudes and strengthen mental health services, make necessary investments to improve and strengthen the network.
