Canada is a country located in North America, being the second country in the world in territorial extension. Even being such a large country, it presents an extremely efficient health system for its users. The administration of health services and the provision of services are highly decentralized, although coverage is possible and guaranteed throughout the country. In relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, in general, the federal government and the provinces have been working together to recognize the magnitude of the challenges posed by the pandemic. The creation of the relevant legal frameworks and the allocation of significant financial resources through special financing strategies have allowed the adoption of urgent measures, including measures to support the economy and employment, as well as the social protection of vulnerable groups in the society.
