In order to understand the influence of treatments and the environment on the life of the black soldier fly, this research was carried out regarding articles published from 2018 to 2022, collected through the search in the IEEE, Scielo, Science Direct, Scopus and Web of Science databases, using a search string with the objective of reducing the scope of data, making it possible to initially find 417 related articles. With the help of the StArt software and previously defined selection criteria, it was possible to classify them using the program's score, excluding articles with low relation. Finally, only 11 papers met the requirements and were accepted in the extraction stage, being part of the Systematic Review and building a solid knowledge about the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) and its creation.
