Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which hit the world's population, caused several ethical issues related to health. In particular, the pandemic stood out as a distinction in resource availability between rich and poor countries. This disparity leads to inequalities in quality and access to care. Aiming to reflect on the ethical problems faced by health professionals, patients and their families during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is an exploratory study of a fundamental nature, using qualitative methods, employing technical procedures such as bibliographical research. carried out a survey of scientific articles and experience reports published in specialized magazines, as well as in academic databases, such as Google Scholar, SciELO, Periódicos CAPES, Banco de Teses da CAPES, Tesauro da CAPES. It is concluded that, in the face of this dramatic situation, the marks and challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the ethical dilemmas that emerged, the solutions and the impetus for change and improvement, at least pointing to the need for urgent investment in ways responsible for sanitation, social equity and respect.
