Abstract

Oscillations rainfall reflect the atmospheric dynamics of the studied area, marked by intense variability in the performance of the Intertropical Convergence Zone as the main weather factor causing rain and the formations of cyclonic vortices upper air in rainy period. The analysis of rainfall in the catchment area is of utmost importance to the gerenciamento of water resources, since it is degraded areas and conducting clearing for agriculture Cerqueiro deployments and removal of wood. Often without adequate structuring the area fits perfectly in context. frequency analysis was executed distributions of the total annual rainfall by drawing graphics. Used to scale proposta by Meis et al. (1981) and the nuclei of meteorology and CPTEC/INPE and available by Xavier and Dornelas (2005), defined as follows: annual figures that came closer to the average, they were characterized as intermediaries, and annual precipitation values who have left the average were considered as representative for dry and wet years. 25% variation range is used compared to the average for intermediate months; above escala values were characterized as very wet years, and below 25%, as dry years in accordance with Xavier and Dornelas (2005). The application of statistical significance test T Student, noted that the general precipitation data are 99% significant.
