Materials and methods: A systematic literature review design was used, selecting studies published between 2013 and 2023 that addressed aspects of safety, health regulations, risk management and infection prevention in dentistry. Recognized academic databases were consulted and inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to ensure the relevance of the selected studies.
