Abstract

This article addresses the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the regulation of the piped gas sector, highlighting its advantages, challenges, and international experiences. The methodology is based on a literature review and a comparative analysis of models used globally. The results indicate that AI can increase regulatory efficiency, optimize oversight, and improve operational safety. The conclusion points to the need for investments in digital infrastructure and technical training in Brazil.
