This article aims to deal with an analysis of the school inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities in mainstream schools. From this perspective, first it was necessary a brief survey on the concept of intellectual disability, their progress based on the legislation, identifying who is considered a person with intellectual disabilities. Therefore the inclusive school characteristics as well as the importance of the manager of a school where the inclusion happens to be aware of all the particulars necessary for along with the entire team make possible means so that the inclusion really happen.
