Abstract

Created on April 13, 2009 by the Brazilian Federal Government, the program Minha Casa Minha Vida aims, in its first stage, to construct of one million houses in the country to reduce the housing deficit, this program is part of a larger project, the PAC (Growth Acceleration Plan). However, the main focus of this work is to analyze the changes in the quality of life of families benefiting from the program Minha Casa Minha Vida, receiving until three minimum wages in Itamar Guará neighborhood. This work also objects to analyze the requirements for the housing and the conditions that the neighborhood where the houses were built, offers to its residents.
