CONSECUENCIAS DE LA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19 EN LA SOCIALIZACIÓN INFANTIL: UNA REVISIÓN DE LA LITERATURA

Introducción: el aislamiento social resultante de la pandemia de COVID-19 representó un cambio abrupto en la rutina de toda la población. Los niños se encontraron alejados de su principal lugar de convivencia y aprendizaje: las escuelas. Esta abstinencia puede tener consecuencias perjudiciales para la construcción de habilidades sociales y salud mental. Objetivo: analizar publicaciones sobre las consecuencias de la socialización infantil como resultado del aislamiento social. Metodología: se realizó una revisión de la literatura para responder a la siguiente pregunta científica: ¿cuáles son las principales consecuencias del aislamiento social resultante de la pandemia de COVID-19 para la socialización infantil? Para obtener el repertorio científico se utilizaron las bases de datos SciELo, PubMED y LILACS, buscando los descriptores "niños", "socialización", "aislamiento social" y "COVID-19" junto con el término booleano AND. Los criterios de inclusión fueron artículos en inglés, español y portugués, con una muestra de población infantil. Se excluyeron los artículos incompletos, duplicados, revisiones de literatura, que presentaban un escape del tema y que no respondían a la pregunta científica. Resultados: Se encontraron un total de 2595, 9 de los cuales se obtuvieron como muestras después de la selección basada en los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Entre las principales consecuencias del aislamiento social encontradas en los niños analizados, podemos mencionar la dificultad de socialización, aumento de las tasas de depresión, ansiedad, hiperactividad y agresividad, dificultad en el control emocional, reducción en la práctica de actividad física y aumento del tiempo de pantalla.
