Abstract

This work aims to build a scope review protocol in order to map scientific evidence in the literature on the use of an educational manual to facilitate communication in health services. It is presented in the form of a research protocol based on recommendations from the JBI manual for evidence synthesis, from the Joanna Briggs Institute, also following the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Meta-Analyses- Extension for Scoping Reviews). The search, together with the data collection, will be carried out based on the DeCS/MeSH (Health Sciences Descriptors, Medical Subject Headings). Beforehand, the review will be registered in the Open Science Framework (OSF) platform. As inclusion criteria, published scientific productions that have: existence of scientific evidence (problem), use of an educational manual (study variables), and facilitate communication (results achieved) will be considered. The following databases will be considered as sources: Medline, Lilacs, Scielo. The stage of synthesis and subsequent discussion of the results will be undertaken by applying the technique of Content Analysis, by Laurence Bardin.
