Dental fluorosis is characterized by hypomineralization of tooth enamel as a result of ingesting fluoride for a prolonged period during enamel formation. This article is a bibliographic review, qualitative, through the method of integrative literature review of selected publications inonline databases where the research was carried out in the databases, a survey of publications relevant to the topic was carried out and found 7 studies relevant to this article. However, it was concluded that the increase in the number of micronuclei was more than 2000 cells in the group diagnosed with dental fluorosis compared to the group without dental fluorosis, there was no significant increase in other nuclear abnormalities, in addition to the increased use of toothpastes containing fluoride increased the risk of dental fluorosis in children of all ages, including early childhood.
