LETÍCIA: A CHATBOT TO FACILITATE INSTITUTIONAL COMMUNICATION WITH SOCIETY

Due to the pandemic caused by coronavirus, numerous challenges have arisen for education in Brazil. Studies show pedagogical, psychological and financial problems in the field of education. In addition to the impacts caused, budget cuts have made it difficult to progress educational activities in our country. To circumvent or mitigate such problems mentioned above, technology is increasingly being used. Given this scenario, the objective of this article is to demonstrate the construction of a chatbot, Leticia, responsible for taking questions from students, family members and servers about a Federal Educational Institution located in Paraíba. The chatbot was developed by students of technical-integrated computer science education, supported by dialogflow and telegram tools during construction. As a result, the feasibility of virtual service and the evolution of accuracy is demonstrated as the software is used. In the last month of measurement, the attendant obtained a 96% accuracy in the treatment of requests. Regarding limitations and future work, the team suggests the use of fulfillment features and the possibility of audio processing.
