Abstract

The aim of this study will be to describe the uses of digital games for children's health. It will be a research protocol, following the checklist of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analyses- Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA- ScR). The databases that will be searched for the full articles will be the Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS), National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health (PUBMED), Web of Science (WoS), Scopus, Cinahl, Embase and Science direct and in the repository of articles Virtual Health Library (VHL) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO). This review will be previously registered in the Open Science Framework (OSF) repository. Published bibliographic materials will be considered, according to the following inclusion criteria: children (population), utilities of digital games (concept) and world health (context). Two independent reviewers will develop the relevance analysis of the articles, the extraction and synthesis of the data.
