Abstract

This article is about the Study of Customer Attraction and Retention Strategies in an Event Decoration Company. The question arose: How does the event decoration company attract and retain its customers? To answer the question, the general objective of analyzing the strategies for attracting and retaining customers in the event decoration company Festinha Feliz was raised. There was a need to identify attraction and retention strategies, analyze what customers are looking for when they hire services and finally know the perception of customers in relation to the attraction and retention strategies applied by the company. To attract and retain a customer, the company must always innovate, proposing ideas with quality. The theoretical approach was focused on the basis of Marketing Strategies, Customer Relationship and Entrepreneurship. The methodology used was a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, a semi-structured interview was used and some clients and the owner of the company were interviewed. As a result of the survey, it was found that the company prefers to invest more in retaining its customers and the majority of respondents stated that they learned about the company through a friend, family member or colleague. The strengths for choosing the services of the decoration company are the beauty of the work, suggestion of a family member and affordable price. The services are advertised through social networks and "word of mouth" advertising. However, it is necessary to improve customer retention and attraction strategies for the company's growth.
