Abstract

This article focuses on the challenges in educational management in the face of our educational reality. To address this, we contextualize democratic and participatory management as a highly important factor in the educational context, as it enables the creation of a more inclusive and collaborative school environment. Searching for new challenges faced in school management and in the classroom, it is essential to promote practices that favor the active participation of all those involved in the educational process, aiming to achieve better results and positive impacts on students' learning. It is necessary to consider the educational consequences of a management system that does not value democracy and participation, always seeking to improve management practices to ensure higher quality and more effective education. Educational management presents various challenges that directly impact the quality of teaching. Through bibliographic research, it was possible to identify those issues such as the lack of financial resources, inadequate training of managers, and the devaluation of education professionals are recurring obstacles in this context. Therefore, it is crucial that public policies be implemented to improve educational management to ensure quality and equitable education for all students.
