A society with a greater sustainability perspective requires transformations that encompass all dimensions of society. In this context, startups are efficient enablers of innovations in favor of society that enable sustainable practices. Thus arises the need to think about the environment, social and also governance (ESG) promoting strategic actions for the sustainability of future communities. In this scenario, startups have to enable strategic actions through business models that are designed through ESG. Thus, the problematic of this study was: what are the relationships among business models, ESG, and startups? To this end, the research objective was: to analyze the relationships between business models, ESG, and startups. To this end, the methodology was a bibliometric analysis in Google Scholar, focusing on the period from 2019 to 2021. The results pointed out the existence of some gaps concerning this niche market, mainly regarding the business models of startups, which have difficulties to fit into traditional models, which leads to their negative performance, non-standardized metrics used for corporate ESG and sustainability analysis
