Abstract

When examining the evolution of technology-mediated education, we describe the phases of distance learning privileged by technological evolution. It is questioned in the construction of this work, what are the perspectives for hybrid education associated with the digital revolution. What is done, analyzing the automation of the educational process in this period of history, classified in Education 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, as well as the perspectives for Education 5.0. When discussing connectivism, the digital revolution and distance learning, as well as contributions to hybrid education, they allowed an analysis of the role of the actors involved in this process, as well as the dynamics and paths that must now be followed by the institutions of education. teaching. To this end, an exploratory and bibliographic narrative research was carried out, which aim to contribute and provide a new perspective on the topic studied. It is pointed out in the conclusions, that hybrid teaching must occur using the available technologies, guided by connectivist learning strategies, with mechanisms that facilitate their contextualization, characterized by greater personalization to individual styles and rhythms. The research indicates the need for new discussions on the topic, rethinking the pedagogical vision in the teaching and learning process, which can transform educational systems into more human, collaborative, sustainable environments and aligned with the needs of the information and knowledge society.
