Genetic syndromes (SG) are the result of changes in human genes, each having its peculiarities. Congenital heart diseases (WC) are one of these peculiarities, being present in most genetic syndromes. When diagnosed early, a better result in patient recovery is better diagnosed. Therefore, the question about the efficiency of treatments for congenital heart diseases when associated with genetic syndromes was raised. This study aims to review the bibliography on treatments for CC and to point out the efficiency of these treatments for WC associated with genetic syndromes. This is an integrative review of the literature, where data were collected in online databases, through the PICO strategy. Data analysis was performed through the systematic reading and analysis of the articles, through which 6 articles refined according to the study objectives and inclusion criteria were selected. The treatments for CC proved to be very effective, with not so much difference between patients with GS and those without, when related to success in surgical interventions. However, the main concern is in the postoperative period, where patients are susceptible to hospital infections, which in turn are the leading cause of death for these patients.
